Surefoot International School is a private co-educational international school that offers education for children of different nationalities from Preschool to Year 13. Built on Christian foundations, the school has grown to being one of the most sought-after schools in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

As of 2012 the population of SIS has grown considerably. Two additional school buildings have been added to the school. These buildings include the Middle and High school blocks which houses classrooms, music room, a language and art room and other subject rooms. The multipurpose hall is where taekwondo and gymnastics classes, assemblies and events are held.

The school has also made provision for those living outside of Calabar who seek quality education at affordable cost for their children. The boarding facility capacitates the housing of upto 75 boys and 75 girls, completely air conditioned. Other facilities include a resource centre, science laboratories, a basketball court, a soccer pitch, a swimming pool and more.

SIS equips students for the Cambridge International Examinations Secondary Checkpoint 1 at the end of Year 9, IGCSE at the end of Year 11 and the A Levels at he end of Year 13. Students study English, French, Math, Sciences, Social Sciences, ICT, Art, Music and Physical Education. From time to time, students have guest teachers and sometimes educational programmes are held in the school.

Students also have non-compulsory, extra-curricular activities, which include the Art Club, the Taekwondo Club, the Swimming club and the Science club, to mention a few. Students also go on field trips as a part of their extended learning and excursions to overseas destinations.

SIS holds a variety of events all year long. Every year there is a Science fair, a cultural day, a funfair and lots more. Parents are given the unique opportunity to witness Assemblies.
